For many of us, that truth is found through Jesus Christ or the Divine Creator. For a large number of our members, it is found through examining life and the experiences we all have. All of these paths and more are welcomed and explored. We value all the viewpoints of our ministers and congregation, however varied and controversial they might be.
We believe in religious freedom, as long as it does not infringe on the rights of or harm others and is within the law. We welcome any who seek truth, wisdom, and tolerance. We believe the eternal message of truth is a spiritual message that needs to be heard within one’s very being. In Luke 17:20-21, Jesus said that the kingdom of God is within each of us and that it will not be found outside of one’s self nor can it be seen with physical eyes. God will and can speak within the heart of each individual.
We believe every creature is important to God’s creation. The love we give to and receive from a pet can draw us more deeply into the larger circle of life, into the wonder of our common relationship to our Creator. Therefore, all of God’s animals are welcomed, honored, and respected at All Creatures ULC (see the note on the Home page under Spiritual Services for more info).
We believe that “church” is a community of believers brought together through a common desire to join in the celebration of the Divine Creator’s teachings and to learn from each other.
